Cinema offers us a great way to unwind from all the stress in our lives and escape into a world where we and our imagination exist. Sounds amazing, doesn’t it? But, unfortunately, for me, it wasn’t.
I am Robby. I run a small construction company. Since there are not a lot of people working in the company, I do a lot of the work myself. We don’t get a lot of projects easily; the ones we get are usually very small jobs. So the business is not exactly flourishing. We were recently given a project to renovate and reconstruct a cinema hall that has been shut down since 1987. Were we the first ones since 1987 to be given that place for reconstruction? Not at all. That place had been given to every big company in the city before it came to us, but nobody was able to construct anything there. The people who usually worked in that place ended up in a hospital bed for at least three weeks. Some people have also died. As the story goes, that place is supposed to be cursed by the souls of the people that died there in the incident that happened in 1987. You might be wondering what exactly happened? Well, the same old stuff. People died in the building as half of the building collapsed on them due to an earthquake, and now they are haunting the place and not letting anyone use it.
