Forests, aren’t they just amazing? From the lush green trees to the beautiful, rare, and unique animals and insects but what intrigues me the most about forests are the mysteries that are hidden within. All the unexplainable things are yet to be uncovered by mankind.

I am Sam. I work in a law firm. It is a well-paying job but along with the good salary comes a large amount of work and the stress it brings with it, so in order to unwind and get a break from all the stress associated with work, I go camping almost every weekend. I like to spend my time in nature exploring the different secrets that nature hides within itself. This week my friend, Paul and I had planned to go to the forbidden forest.

Yes, it’s called the forbidden forest. It’s called that because of all the talk about it crawling with predators of all kinds and because of the incident that took place 15 years ago. I was unaware of this forest till Paul told me about it. It was high up in the mountains which were located 25 km outside the city. He said “That place used to be a camper’s dream destination. People from different places used to visit the forest for recreational camping. Once there was a group of 37 people who set their camp up in the forest. There was a huge forest fire and they never made it out of there.” After doing some research, I found out that a huge patch of the forest is cleared out since that fire. No plants or trees were able to grow on that piece of land anymore. Now coming back to us visiting the place for camping.
